Wrexham Swimming Club, established over 100 years ago, is one of the oldest and most prestigious swimming clubs in North Wales. The club offers a challenging, supportive, and enjoyable environment for swimmers of all abilities, aiming to help members reach their full potential both in the sport and in life.

The club trains across three venues in Wrexham:

• Waterworld Leisure & Activity Centre
• Rhosnesni High School
• Clywedog High School

Training sessions are conducted by a team of professional coaches and volunteers dedicated to providing high-quality instruction. The club actively competes in local galas, as well as national and international meets, fostering a competitive spirit among its members.

Wrexham Swimming Club has a history of success, being recognised as the top team in North Wales almost every year since 2015, and winning the Arena League Premier Division B Final in 2018.

Wrexham Swimming Club hosts 4 open meets each year. These take place in March, April, June and November at Waterworld.

For administrative matters, such as managing memberships and accessing club information, Wrexham Swimming Club utilises SwimManager, an online platform designed for swimming club management.

The club's Performance Squads train at Waterworld Leisure & Activity Centre, a notable facility in Wrexham known for its unique hyperbolic paraboloid roof. Waterworld offers various amenities, including multiple pools, a lazy river, water slide, and a fully equiped gym, providing an excellent environment for swimmers to develop their skills.

The training schedule for Wrexham Swimming Club is designed to cater to swimmers of all levels, focusing on skill development, fitness, and competitive preparation. There is a mix of morning, evening, and weekend slots to accommodate different squads. The club also integrates land-based strength and conditioning training to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall athletic performance. Sessions are carefully scheduled and overseen by experienced coaches, ensuring personalised attention and progress for each member.
