Child Welfare

Wrexham Swimming Club is committed to the welfare of all swimmers and children. We have adopted Y PlantSwim Wales Child Safeguarding Policy (SWCSP).

This helps us provide a safe, happy and fun environment in which children can participate, enjoy making new friends and develop their skills.

As part of providing a safe environment, as well as welfare, we expect all swimmers, parents and members to know about and agree to the club’s codes of conduct.

If you have any specific queries or wish to discuss a concern, please contact a  Welfare Officer from the club.

Our Welfare Officers are Jane Bowyer-Jones and Paddy Prendergast.

If the matter is serious or urgent, please contact NSPCC on 0808 800 5000, the Police, and/or Children's Services.

Or you can call ChildLine and develop their skills at any time (it is free and confidential) 0800 1111
